We call these bites of "Sweet Darkness" for a reason. We've taken locally crafted Vermont maple candy (molded in a variety of springtime shapes, including eggs, chickens, and flowers) and enrobed them in our organic, fair trade, soy free 85% dark chocolate. The result: that sweet burst of maple candy hits you first, and the dark velvetiness of the high percentage chocolate provides a smooth, tempered finish.
Approximately 6 pieces per 2 oz package, and 12 pieces per 4 oz package. Packaged inside a cellophane bag and then placed in a stamped muslin drawstring bag. Ingredient label and best by date provided.
Ingredients: Vermont maple candy (pure Vermont maple syrup defoamed with organic safflower oil), 85% chocolate (organic, fair trade: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla beans).
Naturally vegan and soy free.

Shelf life: 6 months.
Storage: Between 50 and 70 degrees. Refrigerate if you fear melting. Otherwise, if you have a relatively temp. stable pantry or similar, no need to refrigerate.
