Each truffle begins with silky ganache made from 71% organic, direct trade dark chocolate and Vermont heavy cream, gently infused with organic vanilla bean or pure Vermont maple syrup. Then each piece is hand-dipped in the same deep-cocoa dark chocolate and finished with its own distinctive design. A classic pairing of elegant vanilla and warm maple—six truffles of each flavor.

Loved them!

I bought the truffles for a friend who's a chocolate lover. They loved them so much that the truffles were hidden from everyone else in the house. 🥰

Mixed feelings

I love that these are dark chocolate, natural and organic, and the lead and cadmium have been tested and are at acceptable levels. The customer service was also excellent both times I ordered. These are all very important to me!
My only complaint is that the flavors are not pronounced enough. I didn’t taste any lavender in the lemon lavender or rosemary in the grapefruit rosemary. Both had a faint citrus flavor but I couldn’t tell the difference between them. I try a lot of dark chocolates from good companies and I also make my own so I’m comparing these to what I know.
That said, they’re all good, but a couple flavors could be more pronounced. I’m personally not crazy about all the crunchy nibs in the nib and sea salt one though.

We thought the dark chocolate overpowered the flavor of the truffles, and the truffle flavor was lost.

When we want REALLY smooth and delicious dark chocolate truffles, we always look home to Vermont. We swear we can taste fresh Vermont milk and cream in every single bite. And the chocolate itself is SO rich and deep. We’ve moved to New Hampshire these days, but when we want a taste of home, we order chocolates from Farmhouse. We like to enjoy a truffle (or two!) after dinner, or just as a yummy treat after a long day. Absolutely the BEST. A+++++
