It doesn't mean you've lost access — most often, you've just used the incorrect email connected to your wholesale account.
Which email is my wholesale account under?
The one your company applied with. Check past orders in your email to find the account receiving our order confirmations.

I signed in with the wrong email — how do I switch?
Sign in with your registered wholesale email. Shopify emails you a 6-digit code to that address. No password needed!
I can't access the registered email anymore
